Without doubt an exceptional place to stay in Bali. The rooms were very private and charming with a traditional and relaxed ambience and yet featured modern clean facilities. Provision of efficient air-conditioning and fans made for a comfortable stay when indoors. The position of Tandjung Sari was perfect to enjoy the clean well kept Sanur beach and the multitude of shops and restaurants, of various price ranges, nearby. When eating in-house, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner it was also a delight. Above all the staff were exceptional in every way. Service was without fault and every staff member, at the reception, in the restaurant, at the bar, poolside, even those attending to the maintenance, the cleaners and gardeners were always friendly, courteous, helpful and welcoming. All ensured that you felt very much at home. The experience of witnessing an in-house Balinese Legong dance performed by the local childrens’ dance school (that is supported by the Tandjung Sari Foundation), accompanied by a gamelan orchestra of senior musicians, was just one highlight of our stay. It is easy to see why so many people we met there were regulars returning to Tandjung Sari time and time again.

The checkin even after 1am was very quick. The beach in front of the hotel was amazing and uou could swim when it was high tide. Beach chairs and umbrellas was always available. The proximity to the new Icon mall was amazing and the restaurants served luvly food especially due to Tandjung not serving halaal food. The cleaning was done on a daily basis and very thorough. The outside shower was fabulous. One of a few hotels that had the pillows exactly like we loved it, you had the soft pillow and the harder pillow. The solid matress allowed you to have a comfortable sleep. The turn down service was appreciated and they emptied the bins again. Not having a TV was not an issue, because the whole ambiance of the cottages was delightful as well as the private seating area in front of your cottage.

The swimming pool was very nice and bigger than we had expected after seeing the pictures. The room was huge and beautifully furnished with a big bathtub and an outdoor shower. The rooms were cleaned impeccably, the cleaning staff paid attention to the smallest details. Every night the beach is turned into a restaurant and it was great to have dinner with our feet in the sand. The restaurant staff was also very friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was tasty and not too expensive. In general the hotel is managed very professionally. We stayed there for a week and we would definitely stay there again.

sanur beach is one the most beautiful beach in Bali and it has been very famous prior to to Kuta and other places in Bali. I enjoy to look the waves breaking as far as few hundred meters before the beach which give you most pleasant beach w/o fearing the big streaming on the beach. Breakfast is super that you are being served well and you may request more drinks like cappuccino and fresh juices if you are still want it after one portion. the service is very attentive and the portion is really make you satisfied . the fresh fruit platter is also really very fresh and varied with beautiful color of the fruits. Dinner is good if you like Balinese food , but also other meal I tried the calamari is also delicious, and the caesar salad is good.

The food was all delicious with a wide variety of local specialities to choose from and being seated by the pool and in view of the private beach create the perfect backdrop. How wonderful to also witness the young legong dancers by the pool pavilion learning the art of the traditional Balinese dance. The staff were all extremely friendly and hospitable in every way.
